Background

Competitive sport first, then reputation.

Twenty years of competitive golf. German national team, NCAA Division I for the Oklahoma State Cowboys, then four and a half years as a professional. Playing at that level for that long teaches one thing thoroughly: you cannot fool the ball. Results come from honest work on the causes, not from presentation.

After the sports career came an MBA and more than fifteen years in marketing, including eight years of personal branding for founders and executives. Today he runs Builderz, a boutique agency for people who already have substance in their field and want to be publicly recognized for what they are.

There is a second discipline behind this: seven ten-day Vipassana retreats in nine years, in complete silence. That practice shapes how he works to this day. Clear judgment before fast reaction, calm instead of busyness.

Approach

Excellence from joy, not from fear.

The thread through every station is the same: excellence as a way of life. Bernhard calls it Big Life. In decisions small and large, choose the path that makes your one life bigger instead of staying in the default program.

For client work this means: no shortcuts and no borrowed authority. Visibility that stands on real work and holds up under scrutiny. Go big, or go home.
